Using Multiple Wallets

Many holders keep their GRAM, hGRAM and HPO in more than one wallet. That is fine — Hipo tracks every wallet separately and none of them stops earning because you connected another one.

There is one rule that catches people out, and it only applies after you have received a Hipo Club airdrop. This page covers both.

Base staking rewards need no setup at all: hGRAM grows in value against GRAM every validation round, in whatever wallet holds it, connected or not.

HPO rewards are different — Hipo has to know the wallet exists. A wallet starts earning HPO once you have done either of these, once:

  • Opened the Rewards page in the Hipo app with that wallet connected, or
  • Connected that wallet in Hipo Club.

After that the wallet keeps earning on its own balance. Nothing un-registers it: connecting a different wallet later does not stop it, and neither does disconnecting it from the app.

  • Each wallet earns on its own balance. Rewards scale directly with the amount held, so splitting 100,000 hGRAM across three wallets earns exactly what one wallet holding 100,000 earns. There is no penalty for spreading out, and no bonus for consolidating.
  • Your Hipo Club level belongs to your Telegram account, not to a wallet. Every wallet you connect earns at your level’s coefficient. Levelling up lifts all of them at once.
  • You can connect up to 6 wallets to one Hipo Club account.
  • Rewards are tracked and withdrawn per wallet. Each wallet has its own accrued balance and its own 1,000 HPO withdrawal threshold. They are not pooled.
  • Only the owner can withdraw. Rewards accrued by a wallet can only be withdrawn by the Hipo Club account that wallet is connected to, and they are always sent to that same wallet.

When you receive a Club airdrop, Hipo records the amount you are expected to keep. Hipo Club rewards holding, so if that HPO leaves your wallets your level resets to Level 1 and your reward coefficient drops with it.

The amount is counted across all of your Hipo Club wallets, added together. It does not matter which one holds the HPO, or which you connected most recently — move it between your own connected wallets as freely as you like.

What does reset your level:

  • Selling your rewarded HPO.
  • Sending it to an exchange, or to any wallet you have not connected in Hipo Club.
  1. Register the new wallet for rewards. Connect it in the Hipo app and open the Rewards page once. It now earns HPO on whatever it holds. If you never received a Club airdrop, you are done.
  2. Connect it in Hipo Club as well, if it holds any of your rewarded HPO. That is what makes its balance count toward the amount you are expected to keep. The order you connect wallets in does not matter.
  3. Check your level afterwards. If Hipo Club still shows your level, everything is in order.

Hipo Club will show the shortfall — how much HPO you are missing across your connected wallets.

Either move enough HPO back into any wallet you have connected in Hipo Club, or connect the wallet that already holds it. Then wait for the next validation round (~18 hours); your level is restored automatically.

Two things worth knowing while a reset is active: the required amount grows by 1% per day until you restore it, so acting sooner costs less, and once restored, that higher figure becomes your new amount to keep.
