Impersonation is common on TON. This page is the only authoritative list. If something claims to be Hipo and is not on it, it is not us.

Hipo will never

Ask you to connect your wallet to claim a reward or an airdrop
Ask you to sign a transaction you did not start yourself
Ask for your seed phrase or private key, for any reason
Send you tokens you did not expect, or ask you to send tokens to "verify" a wallet
Message you first from a team member’s personal account
Offer support in direct messages

A message that does any of these is a scam, whatever name or picture it carries. Report it in @hipo_chat, and see phishing awareness for the longer version.

These are the only wallets Hipo uses to contact people. What we send is informational and never asks you to do anything with your wallet.

Your wallet shows you the address, not the name above it — so check the address. Each wallet is listed twice because TON writes one address two ways: UQ… and EQ… are the same account, and explorers differ over which they display. Either one is correct, and neither will match a lookalike.

These are real team members. They will never message you first, and they never offer support in direct messages. If one of these names contacts you out of nowhere, it is an impersonator copying the name and the photo.
